To kick off the re-emergence of the New York Grassroots Web Meetup, we will be having a purely social networking happy hour. I hope that we will get a good mix of people who are working in technology at non-profit organizations, non-profit managers interested in learning about using technology, and people from the technology industry (developers, designers, marketers, project managers, business development, etc) who are interested in working with or volunteering for non-profit organizations.

There will be no fee to attend, but you'll have to buy your own drinks. We will meet in the backroom of Swift's bar located at 34 w. 4th Street in NoHo. Please RSVP - even if you're a maybe. Location may be changed if attendance is higher than expected, but I will try to keep it in the NoHo area.

We are also planning another Meetup for sometime in Mid-August that will include a panel discussion and networking opportunity, but we didn't want to wait for that to come together to get this group going again.
