Who is Coming to Social Change Camp?

Leaders from non-profits, charities, museums, schools, corporate social responsibility teams, NGOs and other socially conscious organizations are joining with experts from the technology community, including those with specialties in marketing, business development, community management, software development, and website management. What the Heck is a “Camp”?

A Camp (aka a BarCamp or Unconference) is an ad-hoc gathering that allows the agenda to be set by the attendees. Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to come, attend sessions or become a presenter.

How Do I Sign Up?
Registration will be limited to 150 people. You can reserve a spot by going to http://NY.SocialChang... and following the registration links. The cost is $10 for professionals, $7 for students.

Who attended?

  • 90 attendees
    •  I didn't think the "unconference" format worked. The informal discussion groupings seemed to be bad group therapy. I think I only 20% of the conference should have been in this format. At least for me as an experienced technologist and organizer. Every formal presentation I attended was terrific -- very educational and lot's of interactive value-added by audience. Loved couple from NonProfit Toolbox. Thank you, a great day.
