Based on voting at http://www.doodle.ch/..., the date is now set at 1/22/08.

Please RSVP using meetup, so that we can email you, but we will also be doing some pre-collaboration on a pbwiki at http://rootstechnyc.p...

Please head to the wiki to give more details about your presentation, debate the proposed format, or anything else.

Here's the latest on the event format:

We're relaxing the requirement that everyone present. They are way too many guests for that.

Proposed format:

1. Each member gives a brief introduction, outlining their
project or skills, so that everyone knows what's out there.

2. Brief opening remarks

3. Tom Lowenhaupt presents on his project Connecting NYC

4. Discussion goes from there, with individuals presenting as it makes sense for the discussion.

Hi Felipe, The proposed format has evolved to be more flexible. I'll be sending out an update later tonight or tomorrow. Feel free to come and just observe. Matt

As for the proposed format, I'm fine with 1 but if we don't have a specific project relating to this but want to hear what others are doing is that ok?
