I've been studying technologies of cooperation for a year or so, but in isolation. I need to meet like-minded meat, and ground my ideas in experience. And, this group sounds like fun.
Open business and open enterprise can compete with traditional business on its own terms, and at the same time be more just and sustainable. Web technology makes open enterprise possible, but there are many challenges. I want to help solve them.
I have explored a number of web-based groups that have a grassroots feel, but might not exactly fit the bill. www.espians.com (I'm most active here), green-arrow.net/cctwiki (I'm closer to the source here), cooperationcommons.com.
I started searching "social enterprise" on meetup.com, and then followed the tag trail to this group.
Extrapolating from a small sample, approximately 30.
